PENGARUH TERAPI TERTAWA TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN MAHASISWA S1 KEPERAWATAN YANG MENGHADAPI UJIAN AKHIR SKRIPSI DI STIKES BINA GENERASI POLEWALI MANDAR
Abstract
Anxiety is a natural thing because everyone wants everything to run smoothly and to avoid any distress or failure (Purba, et al, 2008). Mild anxiety can lead to greater performance and level of anxiety is still quite normal. However, if anxiety is very large, it would be very disturbing (Fausiah, 2012). The purpose of this study was to prove no therapeutic effect of laughter on the level of anxiety in the face of nursing students S1 thesis examination in Bina STIKes Generation Polewali. The test group laughter therapy using Marginal homogenity test to determine the influence of significant before and after treatment. Its population is 20 students who face thesis examination in STIKes Bina Generation Polewali. The technique used is total sample and the sampling consisted of 20 respondents of which 20 respondents were measured before and after fulfilling the inclusion criteria. Data collected by means of unstructured interviews and direct observation in patients. From the results of the study showed that there is influence before and after the laughter therapy on the level of anxiety. This can be seen with a value of P = 0.002 which is less than the significance level ? = 0:05 that showed no effect of laughter therapy to decrease the level of anxiety Based on the results of the study were therapeutic laughter affects the decrease in anxiety levels of students who face thesis examination .. While the advice is recommended for researchers to multiply the number of existing samples
so the results more meaningful and more accurate than this study. Keywords: Laughter Therapy, level of anxiety, Marginal homogenity
