Abstract

Performance is a description of the level of achievement of the implementation of an activity program or policy in realizing the goals, objectives, vision and mission of the organization as outlined through strategic planning. The general purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence motivation on the performance of Community Based Surveillance cadres in the work area of ​​the Pancana Health Center, Barru Regency. This type of research is cross-sectional with an analytical approach, the sample is 36 surveillance cadres

The results showed that there was no effect between knowledge p=3.429, compensation p=0.077, leadership p=3.009 on the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in the work area of the Pancana Public Health Center in Barru Regency in 2021. There was an influence between experience p=0.000, attitude p=0.037 , motivation p = 0.000 on the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in the work area of the Pancana Health Center in Barru Regency in 2021. The multivariate results of the most influential variables are experience and compensation on the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in the work area of the Pancana Health Center in Barru Regency.

Sugestion: The new Puskesmas and District Health Office need to refresh information and update data regarding surveillance cadres who are active in case finding.
