PENGARUH KONSUMSI IKAN GABUS (OPHIOCEPHALUS STRIATUS) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA IBU

Management, Solid Med Health development in the 2015 - 2019 period focused on four priority programs, namely reducing infant mortality and mortality rates, reducing the prevalence of stunted children (stunting), controlling infectious and non-communicable diseases (Kemenkes RI, 2016). According to WHO, 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries are related to anemia during pregnancy, based on initial data from the measurement of hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in all health centers in Bone Regency, there are still high cases of anemia in pregnant women. At the time of examination, the average hemoglobin level of pregnant women is around 9-10%. Anemia is also called a potential hazard for mothers and children because of the many impacts such as the risk of prematurity, increased morbidity, and fetal mortality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving snakehead fish to increase hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. This study was carried out to increase public knowledge, especially pregnant women about the effect of high-protein foods on their health and encourage them to apply healthy eating patterns in their daily lives. This research was conducted in Bone Regency for 4 months, starting from March to June 2021. The methods used in carrying out the research include: Observation, data collection, and nutrition consultation for the community before and before consuming snakehead fish. All data collected are recorded in the master table and processed using statistics according to the measuring scale and research objectives. The results presented snakehead fish which were assessed using the pair T test/Wilcoxon test to find out statistically significant differences with the initial values before being carried out. This research is expected to help especially the people of Bone in implementing a healthy diet so that it can increase the value of the population of the bone community and reduce the percentage of pregnant women who experience anemia.
